She uses her time and energy to make sure she has done everything she can to help girls receive an education

She was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan

started speaking out at a young age
only 11 when she gave her first speech
Why Malala?
She is an activist that pushed for girls' right to have an education
It fascinates us how she is only our age and has already made such a difference in the world

Stand up for my beliefs and people regardless of how it makes me look
Put others needs in front of mine
Realize that God put me here for a reason, to help those who are less fortunate because I am able
Malala realizes that there is a need to help & helps with a sense of dignity instead of violently
She recognizes herself as a gift to the girls, which she then gives back by her efforts
Fortitude: took on the adversity she faced & kept pushing for others rights
Temperance: gives herself entirely to the cause
Justice: ignores all of the voices spoken out against her and continues to dedicate herself to the cause
Prudence: knows what is right and realizes that people going against the girls' ability to have an education is wrong
