An introduction to american government
And now for a little history lesson...
Questions for Consideration:

What makes America unique?
Is America "exceptional"?
Many people believe
"in no other country on earth is my story even possible"
America is the beginning of a new life for many people
We educate all our children, not just the privileged
We believe that liberty is worth fighting and dying for...
We are not perfect, but what we're about is fighting to secure freedom for future generations, opening our doors to those that want to come here and embrace freedom and opportunity, and always looking for ways to improve our lives and the lives of our countrymen...
We are even willing to fight our own states, our culture, and our government when the liberty of ourselves or our countrymen is threatened... We work hard to keep the american dream of freedom and opportunity alive...
And that is why you are sitting here right now... Getting an education, so that you can take advantage of opportunity, so that you are armed with knowledge to fight for liberty, and so that you might be able to not only enjoy this american life, but secure its future so that future generations of the world may enjoy it... And emulate it.

That is why you are in school, learning about your government, learning about what it means to be an american, and learning about how to be an informed citizen...
Because without an education you are a slave!
Education is freedom from slavery!
Without an education you are at the mercy of others. You must take the lowest of jobs, and if there are none, beg for people to help you. You may be strong and tough, but you are truly powerless.
We are the most prosperous nation on earth...
