in 2008 The dam will not be completely
functional until 2011. Nearly 1.5 million
Chinese citizens
have to be relocated
in order for the dam
to be completed. The dams estimated cost
is 25 billion USD. The height of the dam
is 185 meters and a
width of 2,335 meters
The dam has 34 generators with
each generator having a
compacity of 700 megaWatts The dam is scheduled
to be completely finished
in 2011 There are several
environmental harms,
including dramaticaly
increased landslides. If everything in China
was wiped out this would
be the most important piece
to be left because... The Three Gorges Dam would
be the most important thing
to save. This is because it
can produce a ton of hydro-
