Maui, Hawaii, is the southwestern region of the U.S. Also it is in the north and west
hemispheres of the
world. Hawaii is an island state, it is not in
a continent. Plus, Maui
is separated into 5
regions, the regions are West Maui, South Maui, Central Maui, Upcountry Maui, and East Maui.
People and goods
move around by airplanes, bus, taxi, shuttle, trolleys, and rental vehicles. Ideas move around by communications like phones or websites. Plus the Hawaiian culture doesn't just speak American (English), they also speak Hawaiian.
One way the environment effects the people by the volcanoes when they erupt and burns the land in Maui.

A few human features that make Maui unique is that people claim that Maui is one of the best place to take a vacation at and it has alot of interesting legends and historical facts that the Hawaiian culture still shares.
