Transcript of The Invention of Smart Cars

The Invention of The Smart Car! photo credit Nasa / Goddard Space Flight Center / Reto Stöckli some smart cars run on battery but most are gas powered. Also they have a filter that filters out the co2! The Smart Car is an automotive branch of Daimler AG. Smart is a German manufacturer of microcars produced in Hambach, France, headquartered in Boblingen Germeny. This is the new 2013 smart car! Many europeans said they needed a car that doesn't release co2 and gets good gas mileage> They also needed to have something small and compact for small parking spaces! It is marketed as the "smart" in all lower-case, with the Smart brand logo, as of 2010, denoting a letter "c" for "compact" and an arrow for "forward thinking". Fun Fact! For Europeans, the high price of gas drove their need for high MPG fuel efficiency vehicles that could also handle the very small roads and very tight parking spaces.
