Masks In Preformence
Throughout the world masks are used for their expressive power as a feature of masked performance - both ritually and in various theatre traditions. The ritual and theatrical definitions of mask usage frequently overlap and merge but still provide a useful basis for categorisation. The image of juxtaposed Comedy and Tragedy masks are widely used to represent the Performing Arts, and specifically Drama.
Trestle Mask Rules
Some of the rules when it comes to wearing a Trestle Mask or any mask in general are always look at the audiecne, never talk, never touch the mask and use body language as you cannot speak/talk.
What are Trestle Masks?
Masks that show expression they are used in performances and theatrical events.
trestle masks are usually made out of plastic this is for comfort, design and for theater purposes.
One thing you may notice about Trestle Masks are made made with big noses to add design for movie purposes as comedy.
Trestle Masks are unique, unlike other masks these masks give humor and joyfulness to the audience.
Trestle has been in the making sence 1981. It has miraculously grew since the day it was establish. Three students from Middlesex university by the names of Sally,
Allen and Toby found the company with the support of there course tutor John Wright.
There are always events happening in the trestle theatre wich is why its very entertaining some up comming events are The Big Christmas Challenge, The Big Draw and Lost Dog.
To conclude trestle masks are very entertaining and fun to watch. They are very unique and not something you see everyday.
