In Waco, Texas where I was previously going to school 88.1% of teens at Waco ISD were considered economically disadvantaged
Corona states, “As of 2013 WISD enrollment, 830 children in the school were coded homeless by McKinney-Vento standards. The number reflects students who, in order to qualify for social services, let their case be coded “homeless” in the school system”(Corona, 2014).
