Work system
A work system provides four pieces of information….

EXAMPLES:
Key Questions to ask when developing an independent work system:
What work?
Does the student know what work to do?
What task?
How much work?
When am I done?
What do I when I am done?
What motivates the student to be finished?
How much work?
Does the student know how much work to do and which task to begin with?
Do they follow the assigned sequence?
Will the student be able to handle movement while working?
Does the student bring his tasks to his desk?
Do they need the assingments already in the folder?
Can they handle getting an iPad off the iPad cart?
When am I finished?
Does the student stay on track as he progresses through the work system?
Does he know when he is finished with all his work?

Where does my work go?
Does the student know where to place his completed work?

What comes next?
Does the student make the transition to his next activity?
Does the student check in with the teacher?
Choose an activity off the choice board?
Earn a token or bubble in a gum drop?
KEY POINT:
Individualization occurs through the process of reassessment and restructuring.
