How did ISIS form?
The ISIS organization didn't start as a new terrorist group, most of them were former al-Qeuda members since 2004. As the group started to reduce in size and number a new group was formed by a guy named Ayu Ayyub al-Masri, which later became known as ISIS.
What is ISIS?
ISIS is a terrorist group that has killed thousands of people for various occassions. Many are for going against them, different religious principles and practices, different races, etc.
What does ISIS mean?
ISIS means the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. There is another form that many others call them by which is (ISIL). This means the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, which people still debate on which one it actually is.
How much has ISIS grown?
ISIS has bursted in the amount of members in their terrorist organization, not only for support but because of how rich it actually is. The terrorist group has gone from almost a couple thousand people to about 31,500 people in only a few months.
Why is ISIS a threat?
ISIS is a threat to the U.S because they have killed many american soldiers, beheaded many journalists, and some ISIS members are sneaking into the United States. There are other threats like Iraq and Syria too, from ISIS.
