Such as how at the beginning of the graphic novel the asylum is taken over by the inmates. They are holding the staff hostage have sent a request to the police to have Batman join them in Arkham because the inmates believe that he is just as crazy as the rest of them living inside there. so when batman arrives at Arkham asylum he is greeted by the joker and even led in by him. Even though there is chaos and people being held hostage the joker is still calm and acting in a such a normal way. If you answered yes to 7 or more questions then you are showing syptoms of having bipolar/manic disorder Is he crazy? Bipolar? The joker tends to have huge mood swings. He went from laughing out of control to murderous rage in a matter of seconds, or sometimes not even that long. We also know that the joker also speaks quite rapidly, his thoughts are racing, and he becomes angry or agitated quickly. We also see that batman does very little talking but on the other hand the joker always seems to be saying something with also shows a huge sign of manic disorder. When batman gets to the asylum the joker who has been demanding him to come here pretty much just say here we will give you a 30 minute head start then we will come play hide and go seek and find you. But while this is going on the joker kills the rest of the hostages in side arkham asylumThis is a good example of how the joker is showing spontaneous behaviour. While on the phone with batman the joker stabs the eyes out of one of the doctors and says that because it was april 1st it was an April Fool's days joke.So when batman gets therewe find out he never did it.
