The Shocking Story of Approved Killing In Mississippi
Who Was Emmett Till?
Emmett Till and his eight negro cousins stopped by "Money" when he started to brag about his white girl back in Chicago. That was a big thing at that time because Negros and whites didn't get along very well. They didn't believe him so he showed them a picture of her. One of the cousins bet Bobo (Emmett) to score a date with that white girl, Carolyn Bryant inside the store. Bobo entered the store alone, and stopped at the candy case. Carolyn was behind the counter;Bobo was in front." He asked for 2 cents worth of bubble gum, she handed it to him. He then squeezed her hand and said " How about a date, baby?" She jerked away and called for Juanita Milam. At that point he was in front of her, caught Carolyn by her waist and said: "You needn't to be afraid o' me, baby. I been with white girls before." At this point his cousin ran in grabbed Bobo and pulled him out of the store.

Idea 6
"Of the murder trial, the Memphis commercial appeal said: "Evidence necessary for convicting on a murder charge was lacking." But with truth absent, hypocrisy and myth have flourished. Now, hypocrisy can be exposed; myth dispelled."
Emmett Till's murder was approved, and the murders were set free with no pressed charges. Due to the segregation and inequality.
Emmett Till was a 14 year old negro boy born in Chicago on July 25, 1941. As he was visiting his uncle in Mississippi Emmett was a victim of an approved murder.

As soon as Roy Bryant heard about the news, he decided that he wouldn't let it go because everyone else will laugh at him. After closing the store he went over to the house Emmett was visiting. When they got there, they marched him down and told him to lie down in the pickup truck .They drove towards money to whip him and teach him a lesson. When they got there they took him to a tool room and began whipping him, then they bashed his head with a .45 pistol. But Bobo never worried. He just kept on bringing them down by saying he wasn't afraid of it. They got really infuriated and decided to teach him a lesson. They drove down to the gin, when they got their Bryant stole a fan and tied it to Bobo's chest. Bryant feared that someone will accuse him of stealing the fan so as daylight broke they carried Bobo to the river bank stripped of his clothes, shot his right ear he dropped down. they barb wired the gin fan to his neck and rolled him into 20 feet of water. he was found 72hrs later, 8 miles down stream by some boys who were fishing
