S.E. Hinton Biography
Books she had wrote
S.E. Hinton got her education at Will Rogers High School which is in Oklahoma. She finished High School in 1966. Also She went to the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. She got he education degree in 1970 while attending Tulsa college.
S.E Hinton's Education
Susan Eloise Hinton was born in 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Outsiders was published in 1967, when Hinton was only 17 years old and attending Will Rogers High School. She began writing the first draft of the novel when she was 15, and writing and rewriting took a year and a half before she was happy with the final copy.


S.E Hinton currently lives with her husband David Inhofe, a software engineer, whom she married in September, 1970. In August,1983, they became parents to Nicolas David Inhofe, who has worked as a sound recorder for movies. . Also Nick Inhofe now works at the Internet Movie Database.
Family
Her first book was the Outsiders, and also the peak of her career. Then in 1971 she wrote "That was then, This is now". Which was another Outsiders-like book but didn't get the same amount of praise that the Outsiders got. Then she wrote Rumble Fish, in 1975 which was another Outsiders-like book that featured Steve a Ponyboy like character in which he must become tough. Then all of her other books weren't that good according to review makers.

S.E. Hinton was born on July 22nd, 1950 she played in movies about her books but she played the nurse in her book, The Outsiders. In 1970 she married to David Infole. She even published two picture books, Puppy Sister and Big David, Little David. She loves kids and has a good memory of when she was a kid.
