A USEFUL RESOURCE FOR EDUCATION

ELEMENTS OF GOOGLE DOC
As you have seen before, some of the elements of the Google Doc home page are the following.
You have to select the option you need to create a new work.

FIRST STEP
In order to create a Google Doc, go to google.com. Click on "Apps option".
SECOND STEP
Then, click on "Drive" option

If you already have an account, you can complete the gaps with your email account and your password.

If you do not have a Google account, create it.
Select "Create your account" and fill in the gaps.
PRACTICE. Work in groups. (5 MIN)
1.- Open a new document, change the title of your document, rename it "Practice in Google Docs".

2.- Share your document with your partners in
order to work in the same document together.

3.- All together create a document writing about
"The educational use of Google Docs in the classroom".

4.- Add coments to the document and share your opinions on the chat.

5.- Feel free to insert images, graphs or other items.

6.- You can click on "Tools" and then on "Research" to search for information.

1.- Open a new Presentation and choose a topic for your presentation.

2.- Change the title of your document, rename it
"Practice in Google Docs".

3.- Individually, create a document writing about
your school and your country, at least, two slides.

4.- Use the different menus to edit your presentation.

5.- Feel free to insert images, graphs or other items.

6.- Share your work with your partners via
gmail.

1.- Open a new Spreadsheet, change the title of your document, rename it "Practice in Google Docs".

2.- Share your document with your partners in
order to work in the same document together.

3.- All together create a document writing about
"The best evaluation for students". You have to work
writing about the aspects you evaluate and the
percentages you use when evaluating.

4.- Add comments to the document and share your opinions on the chat.

5.- Feel free to insert images, graphs or other items.

PRACTICE. Work individually. (5 MIN)
1.- Open a new Form, change the title of your document, rename it "Practice in Google Docs".

2.- Choose the title and the topic.

3.- Individually, create five questions about a topic.

4.- Select different types of questions.

5.- Change options in the Confirmation Page in order to see differences.

6.- Click on "View live form" to see the presentation
about your form.

7.- If you want, you can add a duration for your test.
