Ain't Worried Bout Nothing by: French Montana
The song, "Ain't Worried Bout Nothing", by French Montana is about not worrying about people hating on him. This song relates to the play, Julius Caesar, because when Caesar killed Pompey he wasn't worried about the people being controlled by him anymore. By this I mean Caesar cared about power and the about his people hating him because he was not their ruler. Another way this song connects to this act is that by now Caesar is on top; he knows he's not going to be bothered by Romans. I chose this song because in the lyrics it says he's not worried about people hating him or hating on him for his choices. As a leader, Caesar is respected in this song because he had to face criticism, hatred, rumors, dislike, and disrespect, just like the song explorations.
Warning by Biggie Smalls
The song, "Warning", by Biggies Smalls is about warning someone to let them know that someone is trying to hurt them or kill them. This song relates to the play, Julius Caesar, because when the soothsayer warned Caesar that he was doing to die. By this I mean Caesar was warned but never listened. Another way this song connects to this act is by showing people that wanted to kill him because he had a lot of power. I chose this song because it shows a lot and tells people how he was notified.
I'll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy
This song, "I'll Be Missing You", by Puff Daddy is about someone losing somebody important in their lives. This song relates to the play, Julius Caesar because when Caesar fell and Antony told the people of Rome they were very sad and angry. By this I mean people missed him and loved him. Another way this song connects to this act is by showing people that in the song it says that even thought he is gone he will never be forgotten. I chose this song because it means a lot to me because my uncle loved that song and it reminds me of him when I hear it playing.
What I've Done by Linkin Park
This song, "What I've Done", by Linkin Park is about making my decisions and with my decisions I made mistakes then I wonder "What I've Done" ? This song relates to the play, Julius Caesar because after Brutus and his friends kill Caesar the leave and they start freaking out and having regrets that they want to kill themselves. By this I mean they want to die because they have done a bad deed that was not necessary. Another way this song connects to this act is by it just makes and shows people have regrets. I chose this song because it shows you how they must have felt after they killed Caesar.
Started From The Bottom by Drake
This song, "Started From The Bottom", by Drake about starting from something small and now ending up in something big. This song relates to the play, Julius Caesar because they came from the death of Caesar to form a new government. By this I mean they came from something good into something better Another way this song connects to this act is by the way Caesar turned his country and people to a better place to live. I chose this song because people can make a big change in their lives, good or bad.
