There are many good types of renewable energy. Using any type of renewable energy is better than using unrenewable energy such as fossil feuls.
Though each type of energy has their pros and cons, they are all very good options for renewable energy. They are all nonpolluting, good sources of energy.

What is it:
Solar energy is the energy given off by the sun, in the forms of light, heat, and WHAT. Solar energy is the Earth’s largest source of energy
Does not contribute to global warming
Help avoid blackouts and brownouts
Solar panels are silent, and easy to operate and maintain
Can cut utility bills for both residences and businesses
Prices are dropping
Since many solar panel companies are U.S based, it supplies jobs for many Americans and reduces the country’s dependence on foreign coal, oil, and gas.

Solar energy is important for many reasons. It can be used in many ways, including:
Electricity for homes and businesses
Heating for homes and businesses
Water treatment plants
Increased use of solar energy will decrease the amount of nonrenewable energy being used, which decreases greenhouse gas emissions.

Hydroelectric power is electrical power that is generated through the energy of flowing water. It has the advantage of using only renewable resources, and not producing harmful waste or byproducts
How does it work ?
is driven directly by solar energy. When the sun heats the water in the ocean, some of the water on the surface is vaporized. The water vapor rises and when it reaches higher layers of air and is cooled, the waterfalls down in the form of rain, hail or snow. The water flows in streams and rivers, finally reaching the sea where it again evaporates.
