Theme
The theme of the book divergent was to teach people about authority and identity. And how to be your self in the face of adversity. As well as being resilient against a rival. As well it teaches that is OK to be different.
Author's Purpose
I believe that the author's purpose for writing this book is to entertain people and teach them that it is OK to be different. It would entertain in ways like it would keep people on there toes and there was always something new around the next corner.
Analysis
The book
Divergent
tells a story about a girl in a world not that much different from our own and she soon learns that she is a dangerous thing called divergent and she has to learn to hide it.
Author's Choice
The author unfolds the events in
Divergent
in a smooth and effective manner as well the story was vary well developed.
Divergent
was one of the most interesting fictional stories that i have read. The connections were smooth and well put together.
Conclusion
In conclusion Divergent was written to teach people that you don't need to hide who you are to fit in. I give this book a 9/10 because it was interesting and i would defenetly suggest to someone else to read.
Point of View
The point of view of the book

is first person point of view coming from Tris the main character.
