What’s interesting about Istanbul is that it's cultures are half European and half Asian.

You can go on amazing tours around the cultural monuments
You can go to the Topkapi Palace, Topkapı is No. 1 on everyone's list of Istanbul sights, now days it is a museum with many beautiful things to observe. This Palace was owned by Sultan Mehmed II.
Bosphorus Cruise, its a cruise that goes from the Sea of Marmara to the south with the Black Sea.
Grand Bazaar, is filled with the exotic spices , food, shop ect.
Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art, is filled with beautiful objects, from the Ottoman century(14th to 20th)
Byzantine Hippodrome , was the heart of the city of Constantinople. But know days its a beautiful park.
Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya) , is a magnificcent church, its one of the most impressive and important buildings ever constructed.
The Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) , was owned by Sultan Ahmet I, and inside you can see its many different kinds of beautiful tiles .
Bosphorus Strait
Basilica Cistern, is located underground and it was used too store water for the Great Palace and nearby buildings
It’s the second largest city in the world by population within the city limits.
It has one of the most bussiest waterways in northwestern Turkey, between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea.
The city isn't classified as a Mediterranean or humid subtropical climate.
It has only 2 summer months with less than 40 millimeters (1.6 in) of rainfall.
Fog happends very often close to the Levent, usualy it forms in the morning.

Istanbul's location is about:
Scrubs that are in many places,come as a result of destruction of the forests. (are generally found close to the forest)
Scrub, forest are part of their natural vegetation. (so are groves, parks and housing gardens that are made by human efforts)
Scrub formations are found in the southwest part of Istanbul.
Forests are the main vegetation in Istanbul.
Dry summers and rainy winters

You don't have to be in shape to visit Istanbul.

The best time to visit is not during the summer months between June and September they are very hot in Istanbul.

You just have to be ready to walk a lot
So have fun visiting the city of Istanbul and its fabulous monuments!
