Cup Stacking Challenge
Rules
1. All group members must participate in each
challenge
2. Only the rubber band can touch the cups (
may not
use hands to touch the cups
)
3. If the directions for each challenge are not followed
correctly, groups will have to restart that challenge
4. You will have 3 minutes to complete each challenge
Challenge #5
Directions: Each member may use only use 1 hand to control their string (other hand must be behind your back) and NO verbal communication
Materials
4-5 Team members per group

6 cups
1 rubber band
4-6 pieces of string
Objectives
work together as a team towards a common goal
improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills
explore and implement various problem solving techniques
Challenge #1
Directions: Each member may use 2 hands to control their string and use verbal communication
