~Duality ~Evil Conflict , " With every day and from both sides of my intelligence, the moral and intellectual, I thus drew steadily to that truth by whose partial discovery I have been doomed to such a dreadful shipwreck: that man is not truly one, but truly two." "Edward Hyde, alone in the ranks of mankind, was pure evil" Jekyll and Hyde is about a man who has inner power struggles with good vs. Evil. Jekyll creates Hyde; a monster like being; so he can hide behind his alter egos character and get away with doing evil things. Jekyll’s good friend Mr. Utterson attempts to help undercover the truth about Jekyll’s alter-ego Hyde; but has inner conflict about betraying his friend. Finally Utterson gives in and reads Dr. Jekyll’s will, and discovers the truth.
