Pollution refers to excessive amounts of waste, much of which contains harmful poisons, that are released into the environment-air, water, and soil. Pollution is usually caused by people; more specifically it is caused by the waste produced by the cars we drive, the factories that make the things we buy, the power plants that produce the gas and electricity we use, and even the farms that grow the food we eat.
Pollution has been a problem ever since large numbers of people occupied a relatively small space. During the 1800s and 1900s, however, as the world became increasingly crowded, and more and more factories were built, environmental pollution became a serious issue.
We have all heard Global Warming, one of the main reasons is
why it is happening because of pollution . In many places there are different cause of pollution. For example India :
1. The main reason is actually Humans, and the activities they preform like:
2.Industries for various human needs - directly and indirectly like factories,etc...
3.Agricultural purposes such as farming,etc...
4.Health care for health of human beings and animals such as medicines,etc..
5.Transport for mobility of human beings and serves as a mean of transport like boats,etc...
6.Energy for various direct human needs and industrial
needs like factories,etc...
And So Much More! Causes of Pollution Just like the causes of pollution there are even types of pollution like:
