ZAHS Technology Integration Plan 2015-2017
The ZAHS envision a school community where learners grow and develop their full potential through adequate resources and competent teaching staff who turn learners into pro-active individuals and take the lead in community development and initiatives with the support of parents and stakeholders.
Students achieve high academic performance and acquire finely-honed skills through adequate engagement and access to learning resources of different modalities appropriate to their own abilities and learning styles. Proper technology planning, training, and resources, help schools give quality education to every learner. Technology literate teachers and administrators are better able to facilitate student learning, expand local curriculum, and diversify instructional practices.
Technology is viewed as a basic tool for teaching and learning. It is an essential tool for problem solving, communication, collaboration, and information exchange. It is therefore accessible to teachers and learners for their adequate training in order to maximize its benefits.
Stakeholders from the business sector and higher education assist schools by providing the expertise and resources needed to extend the learning community and integrate learning innovations into the curriculum.
The mission of the Zeferino Arroyo High School Technology Plan (ZAHS-) is to develop learners into globally competitive citizen through the schools’ child-friendly, nurturing, and student-centered environment which will promote a foundation for lifelong learning.
