Earlier this year, bill HB851 was passed. This bill allows illegal immigrant, those who have no documents a chance to pay instate tuition for Florida's secondary school. It is predicted to pass house and clear the governor's desk. This offer would provide immigrants to have a secondary education with instate tuition. This is done through revision of residency requirements and elimination of discrimination against others just because of their immigration status. All supporters of this organization is being told to go against the bill and prevent it from being passed, this is because of their point of views. They believe that allowing benefits to illegal immigrants will go against the organization's values. Their purpose is deport all illegal immigrants and stop transportation and recruitment. They claimed that granting these benefits will give immigrants more reasons to come to the United States illegally. The AIC disagrees because they concluded that the United States is taking away benefits from naturalized citizens and giving them to those who "don't deserve it."
