Controlling the posture of the body

Deltoid- Voluntary
Abduction of the arm
Quadriceps - Voluntary
Extension of the legs
Heart - Involuntary
Pumping oxygenated and deoxygenated blood round the body
Gluteus Maximus- Voluntary
Extends the femur to be inline with the body
Hamstring - Voluntary

Allows Flexion of the Lower leg
Gastrocnemius- Voluntary
Allows Extension of the foot
latissimus dorsi

Contols the adduction of the arms
scapular elevation or shrugging your shoulders
Erector spinae Muscles

short intrinsic muscles of the spine, controlling the posture of the body
allowing extension of the arm
