the recruitment advertising industry. Nominated for two RAD awards (see www.radawards.com) and winner of a local press award for the industry’s first Google gadget advert – Yell “Talented Digits”.
Project managed the 2008 creative campaign for the NHS Graduate Scheme.
Created the concept and wrote copy for a brand new npower careers website.
Wrote copy for a variety of media, including print display, print collateral, radio, online display and websites.
Developed creative work to tight deadlines and presented it to clients and internal teams. 2007-08: Internal Account Manager, TMP Worldwide Project managed the UK’s first ever Second Life careers fair – involving the participation of three major clients.
Created the concept for the 2007 NHS Graduate Scheme on-campus promotion campaign.
Carried out research into different media and compiled media schedules for recruitment advertising campaigns.
Worked with the creative and production teams to design and set advertisements.
Presented new campaigns to existing clients and participated in new business pitches.
Ensured that client objectives were met in the development of creative work. 2006-07: Information Assistant, University of Birmingham Organised and promoted a highly successful Media and Communications Careers Day and an Ethical and Environmental Careers Day, and conducted podcast interviews with speakers.
Researched and organised library resources, including the departmental website. (My "I'm

face.) 2010-11: MSc Marketing Communications, University of Birmingham Awarded a Simon Evans Scholarship.
Achieved distinctions in all assessments to date, including Marketing Communications, PR & Media and Consultancy Skills.
Other modules include Advertising & Sales Promotion and Direct & Interactive Marketing.
Won a marketing consultancy pitch for Dixons Retail (Currys/PC World).
Came second in an Advertising pitch for Ticket Factory (NEC Group).
Currently working on a dissertation investigating the use of celebrity endorsers in sport. 2002-06: 1st Class BA Modern Languages, University of Sheffield Studied French, Spanish and Italian – awarded a distinction in spoken French.
Completed five months of study at L’Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (France) and La Universidad de Oviedo (Spain).
Awarded distinctions for year abroad projects. (A photo shoot for the Ticket Factory pitch.) Speak four foreign languages: French (fluent), Spanish (fluent), Italian (advanced) and German (conversational). Confident, competent user of the Internet and software such as Roxio Media Creator, Prezi and Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, FrontPage and Outlook.
