Hey Simon, I just want to say I'm sorry. You truly were a good friend. I was learning in class today about archetypes and I really think that you're the care giving type. A caregiver is moved by compassion, generosity, and selflessness to help others. The inner caregiver helps to raise our children, aid those in need, and build structures to sustain life and health. They seek to help others and take risks to pursue to help others that they end up harming themselves. They dislike selfishness, especially in themselves and fear what it might make them. Reflecting on what happened on the Island, you really were this archetype. You never ever thought of yourself in a selfish way. You always wanted to help other people for example, remember the time that no one was helping with the shelters and you and I were the only ones that did. You always respected us, whether biggun or littlun. Like the time you were sitting between the twins and Piggy and you gave a piece of meat to Piggy. Oh and that time that one of the littluns couldn't reach the fruit, you grabbed it and gave it to them. You're so generous and wholehearted and I miss having you around. You're also so kind, when I heard that you set free the dead parachutist, i was gobsmacked. Even still when you knew that the beast was actually a dead human, you set him free. You did not want him to suffer anymore. You're unbelievably amazing. And then that night happened.....I'm so sorry Simon. ugh, I feel awful. There entire time that you were on the Island, you knew that there was no beast, you knew. You went all that way to prove to us that there was no beast and that we shouldn't be scared but, we didn't listen. You ended up being killed because of our stupidity and savage ways. Simon, you were never scared were you? You knew all along and we didn't listen to you. For that, I'm so sorry. You'll forever be in my heart Simon. Thank you for everything. Rest In Peace. Love, Ralph.

oh yeah, another thing. Thank you so much for believing in me throughout the entire time we were on that Island. I know at points, i was negative and thought that we would never be rescued but, you were right. whatever you told me was true. I still remember those exact words, "You'll get back to where you came from." I still remember when you told me this. It was when i was looking out at the ocean and i thought to myself that this ocean was the barrier and that the other side was where there could be rescue. But again your words struck me, "...I just think you'll get back all right." You believed in me when I didn't. You gave me some hope of being rescued with your wise words. Also, you were the one who helped me whenever no one listened. Thank you for that. For everything really. You were an amazing person and I'm sorry that you cannot be here with us but, I know that you are in a better place right now and that you're looking down on all of us. You are my hero Simon.
