How Health Conditions Influence the Body's Glucose Levels Test Subjects Food Consumed Glucose Testing Results Purpose The purpose of this investigation is to be able to distinguish the differences in glucose levels of individuals with varying medical conditions relating to the ability of the body to metabolize glucose. Hyperglycemia Hypoglycemia Control Conclusion When an individual characterized by hypoglycemia consumes a meal high in carbohydrates, the blood glucose levels rise to normal levels but then drop rapidly
When an individual without a health condition relating to blood glucose levels consumes a meal high in carbohydrates, the blood glucose levels rise slightly, then return to normal
