Simulation can be defined as an imitation of a real world system, by hand or by using a computer model, to evaluate and improve the system's performance.

Problem Definition :

After tracking down bottlenecks in production lines throughout the manufacturing process, We discovered that the queuing of certain parts cause delay in the flow of the production, therefore a simulation system was needed to be applied.
AIM :
To make those particular bottleneck sections to perform as fast as possible to improve overall efficiency.

Conclusion :
After modeling the simulation we found out that the main bottlenecks were at the automatic screw machine and cutting machine where a lot of queues occur at these two points

Therefore we added two extra machines in both of them ,and reduced the queuing as much as we can to improve the system efficiency and increase the flow of production.

Flow process charts to collect an overview of the flow of parts.
Designing a simulation model for the current system on ExtendSim.
Modification to the model to prevent bottlenecks and increase the flow of process.
