The Westward Bound in the 1800's You the student have been chosen to go west in search of new land. You will plan a trip west with everything you will need to get to the west coast. Put together a multimedia presentation for the class. Why did you go west?

The Geographer You as the geographer will come up with the route or routes that were taken. You will explain what type of terrain that one would encounter and the environment that is to be found. Prepare a map to share with the class. What routes where taken to go west?
