MEDIEVAL ENTERTAINMENT Medieval entertainment was ALOT different to modern day entertainment. It's not like they could get out an xbox and play for hours. I am going to show you some of the things they had for entertainment NUMBER 1:
JESTERS jESTERS WERE SORT OF LIKE AN OLDEN-
DAY CLOWN. KINGS WOULD SUMMON JESTERS
SO THEY COULD RELAX AND LAUGH AT SOMEONE. JESTERS performing NUMBER 2:
JUGGLERS jugglers were sort of like jesters that juggleD (obviously). some jugglers used other tricks or acts. some were even frauds or deceptively smart. YAY!!!! number 3:
minstrels Minstrels were travelling
musicians that could play
a variety of songs and tunes.
these musicians were usually quite poor and were providing entertainment for peasAnts. LALALAALALALALALALA nUMBER 4:
tournaments TOURNAMENTS IN MEDIEVAL TIMES USUALLY INVOLVED KNIGHTS BATTLING AGAINST EACH OTHER. SOME FIGHTS WERE JOUSTs WHERE TWO KNIGHTS ARE ON HORSES AND TRY TO KNOCK EACH OTHER OFF WITH POLES. THESE PROVIDED GREAT ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE KINGS. Jousting battles were fierce and competitive NUMBER 5:
MUMMERS a MUMMER WAS A MASKED OR COSTUMED DANCER OR ACTOR. THEY WERE OFTEN FOUND AT FESTIVALS AND PARTYS.
tHESE ACTORS WERE OFTEN INVITED TO PARTYS BECAUSE OF THEIR TALENT. NUMBER 6:
HUNTING hUNTING WAS VERY POPULAR IN MEDIEVAL TIMES. They used to hunt animals. Commonly hunted animals were rabbits, deers and other small animals. That was only a 6 of the many things medieval people did for entertainment. hope you enjoyed!! Medieval Weapons! Spears (a very long stick that has a sharp end at the top of it) Swords (a sharp iron stick) Daggers (a small iron blade on a handle) Knifes (same as a dagger but only smaller) Crossbows (kind of like a gun but it shoots out a bolt) Axes (a long stick with a sharp triangle on one end) Maces (a baseball bat that has sharp thing on the top end) Bows (a bit of string rapped around the ends of a stick) Staffs (a long stick thing) awesome! D: that would be bad! In medieval times, they had lots
of types of armour.... usually they
wore chain
mail under their
armour middle ages was a time of severe punishment and harsh torture for crimes that today would seem not so bad. I am going to show you some punishments and some laws here were many methods of torture which were practised during the Medieval era of the Middle Ages:

Ripping out teeth / nails
Beating
Blinding
Boiling
Bone breaking
Branding and Burning
Castration
Choking
Cutting
Disfigurement
Dislocation
Drowning
Flagellation, whipping and beating
Flaying
Roasting
Genital mutilation
Limb/finger removal
Starvation
Tongue removal torture did not seem very fun :/ then they had heavy armour to deflect themselves from being hurt too much.... The most common means of torture included burning, beating and suffocating, however the techniques are some of the most extravigant. Torture can include anything used to bring upon physical or mental pain but these are some of the most common. During the Middle Ages, torture was a very common way to punish offenders. Following are the most common torture devices used during the Middle Ages Medieval Torture They might of died :O A picture of most types of weapons Medieval Armour There were many different types of armour in medieval times. Sometimes they would have chain mail underneath their
heavy armour. the chain mail would reduce the damage done by arrows
that slipped in between the gaps in their armour. :| Chain mail You can see lots of different types of medieval armour when you watch
