Abraham Lincoln Who? Abraham Lincoln was
the 16th president of the United States. He served as president from 1861-1865. He was born on Febuary 12th, 1809. He married Mary Todd and had 4 children: Robert, Edward, Willie and Tad. In 1816 Abraham and his family moved to Indiana because of slavery in Kentuckey. He was a lawyer/politician and served the military in 1832. When? Where? What? Why? How? Abraham was against the slavery of black
people. He believed that all men are created
equal and he wanted the equality of all races. He
was assassinated because John Wilks Booth didnt
want the blacks to have the right to vote. Abraham Licoln was against
slavery and made the quote
"If slavery is not wrong, nothing is". He issued the Emancipation Proclamation which led to the freeing of all slaves in the USA. The Civil War
lasted from 1861-1865, it was between the USA and the CSA. Abraham was a leader for the USA. In 1863 He issued the Emancipation Proclamation (freeing of all slaves). The Union won in the end. He was assassinated on April 14, 1865. Abraham was born in Kentucky. The Civil War was in Antietam and Gettysburg. He was assasinated at Ford's Theater. He was burried in Springfield, Illinois. Abraham Lincoln's side of
the States won the Cilvil
War and the freedom of
all slaves was placed into
