Subcamp Section -
A brief introduction One town One Subcamp One Scout One Patrol One Unit One Jamboree Subcamp Life Atmosphere
- Each Subcamp will have its own distinct character We will create an environment where participants feel like home in their Subcamp Subcamp Evening
Pre Jamboree activity Through programme activities as well as the above initiatives we will create an atmosphere where participants feel they belong to and take responsibility for their Subcamp.
Participants will be living, cooking & eating in their patrols. Patrol kit to support
the cooking per patrol. Unit Equipment with Safety Equipment, dining shelter etc. Living Subcamp Evening Subcamp Evening Happening on the second night of the Jamboree, 29 July.
To establish the affinity per Subcamp
To create new friends within the Subcamp
Will probably include a gathering of everyone per Subcamp

Will probably include a gathering of everyone per Subcamp Subcamp Names Each Subcamp in a town has a Swedish geographical name referring to the season.
It gives the participant inspiration to learn about Swedish geography, meet the Swedish culture and learn more about Sweden before coming to the Jamboree.
Each Subcamp will have a symbol that relates both to the location and the season.
Symbols associates directly to nature or meetings of various kinds.
Information Desk
Open 08.00 – 22.00. Staff is available 24/7.
Using WSJ information system.
Bulletin Boards at the Subcamps
Take part in Unit leaders meetings
Will find information, not direct participants elsewhere
Lost & Found
Indexing a store items so that the owners can find their lost belongings.
Manage and distribute mail that arrives at the Jamboree and handle outgoing mail. Spontaneous programme
A booth where the participants can borrow different types of small scale activities.
The activities will be divided into four different categories (the names are not finally decided yet):
Moving - e.g. "Orienteering" on the campsite (nature)
Crafting - e.g. Pioneering work with spaghetti
Thinking - e.g. Discussion subjects (solidarity)
Meeting - e.g. Scout bingo (meeting)
It will be possible for the participants to add their own activities, both before and during the Jamboree.
Activities available 15.00-21.00.
Activities not led by Jamboree Staff.
Time needed 30-90 minutes
Café/Corner Store
Food that doesn’t require any preparation in the café.
E.g. sandwiches, buns, cookies, fruit, ice cream, snacks.
Also sanitary articles, sun lotion, postcards, batteries, stamps etc.
Opening hours 08.00-22.00. Stage programme
Located at or in front of the Subcamp stage
Participants involved in the activity in various ways
Could be karaoke or a quiz led by Subcamp Staff, but could also be a dance or song performed by participants, or a cat walk to show the scout uniform from different countries.
Opportunities for participants to lead an activity for new and old friends.
Opening hours 18.00-22.00.
