A career in medical sciences! Neurologist Neurologists diagnose and treat injuries, disorders and diseases of the nervous system. Our nervous system can be affected by diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as by mental disorders such as schizophrenia, depression, autism etc.The specialists who treat patients living with these diseases and disorders are called neurologists. They examine patients who have been referred to them by other doctors. Depending on the symptoms, there are many tests they can perform to diagnose a patient’s illness. They test the patient’s abilities, like memory, speech, and sensation. Job Description Neurologists earn about $100,000-$250,000 a year. This depends on their experience, position and whether or not they are self employed. $alary Neurosurgeon
Pathologists Related careers The estimated job growth in this profession is about 22% by 2018. Career Path There is shortage of Neurologists and other specialist physicians jobs in Canada, according to the Canadian Visa Bureau. They are in need of specialist physicians throughout Canada and are trying to emigrate skilled migrants for these jobs.
