Is it necessary ?? What is Human Resource? Outline What is HR ? Why HR Strategy is necessary? Why is HR important? Issue in Hospitality Discussion Conclusion Poonsak Luthong Human Resource Strategy People first! Our greatest assest, and the key to our success, is our people. "Because satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance" "Take care of Marriott people and they will take care of Marriott guests" - According to Prince (1997), a strategy is the mean by which an organisation seeks to meet its objectives. Issue - Turnover over 100% per year employees who are here today, will not be here at this time next year. Reasons? -Lack of adequate training and development.
