Facts can be looked up in dictionaries, encyclopedias, and non-fiction books. Opinions
Opinions are what you think or believe.
Often, opinions include comparison words like best, worst, prettiest, etc. Facts
Tomatoes are a fruit.
Summer is a season.
Carrots are a root vegatable.
The sun is a star.
Mars has 2 moons. Opinions
Dogs are better than cats.
Blueberries are gross.
The best color is black.
My favorite subject is science.
Roses are better than daisies. Which is it?
