Unsafe water causes 4 billion cases of diarrhoea each year, and results in 2.2 million deaths, mostly of children under 5. This means that 15% of child deaths each year are from diarrhoea- a child dying every 15 seconds. In India alone, the largest cause of ill health and death among children is diarrhoea, which kills nearly half a million children each year. Project India To form the Poetic Social Mission, Guy Liberté (the founder of One Drop) was launched into space. The purpose of this project was to change how water was used and it was to rais awareness. Water Art is a project that was designed to let painters share the importance of water with everyone who sees their paintings.
