Transcript of civil war project Robert E. Lee

Lee saw himself as an exta part of his family's greatness. At 18, he applied at West Point Military Academy. His studies were perfect scores in the artillery, infantry and cavalry. Robert E. Lee Robert E. Lee was born on January 19, 1807 in Stratford Virginia. He came to military school during the Civil War. He was commanding his home forces and becoming general of the Confederate forces, at the end of the war. The Union won the war. He then went on to become the president of Washington College.





Robert E. Lee is the idol of the south even till today he lead the south in there was for the civil rights.During the war he served on the staffs of John Wool and Winfield Scott Robert E. Lee musket bullets He was the son of the War hero called "Light Horse Harry" Lee. He chose to fight for his home state and was a General in the Confederate Army. Lee was put in charge of the Army of Northern Virginia. But he was on the losing side of the war. He was seen as a hero and then was in the north for his valor and military strategy's. Musket Muskets were used during the civil war along with cannons. Musket Robert E. Lee counted on his faith and strength for guidance not only in hard times. But what he base his life on.
