Evaluate scientific interventions by the sports coach.
Use appropriate technologies to evaluate tactical and technical attributes. DEFENDING AND TACKLING When watching or coaching rugby, you
want your defending players to be able
to makethe decision to ‘attempt’ a tackle
and execute the tackle with correct technique
all in onesimultaneous action. What you
don’t want is to have your players
(whatever the age) ponder over how and
when they should make the tackle. ‘Practice doesn’t make perfect; only perfect practice makes perfect.’ KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Key Performance Indicators, also known as KPI or Key Success Indicators (KSI), help an organisation define and measure progress towards particular goals. Games 4 and 5 were played after the interventions were proposed. Pre-intervention results Post-intervention results Interventions the interventions which we have chosen to implement are specific training sessions based up the technical aspects of how to complete a tackle and the follow up to tackling (groundwork) Conclusion After undertaking the analysis of the collegiate rugby league team in question, there have been various discoveries of methods and techniques which can be undertaken to obtain analytical data.
If the collegiate team needed more analysis to be undertaken we feel that we would be competent to complete the task and that our findings would be accurate.
From the findings and results post intervention there is a significant increase in success rate of the defense for the rugby league team.
