Non Conformity
Importance of Nature
Life of Pi tells the story of a boy who managed to survive at sea for over 200 days. When he is rescued, he is asked to describe how he survived for so long. Pi explains that he had to learn to fish, tame the lion stuck on the lifeboat with him, and avoid other dangers. Taking care of the lion, Richard Parker, kept Pi watchful and, more importantly, sane. Over the course of his journey, Pi's relationship with the tiger, the ocean, and himself become stronger. By the end of his travels, he understands Richard Parker and knows how to care for him. He also learns to take care of himself and become one with nature.
Free Thought
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

Miracle Whip expresses nonconformity through many of its advertisements. Kraft insists that only people that are bold and different can have Miracle Whip. It is only for people that will stand up for what they want and not conform.

The Hunger Games shows an example of confidence. Although Katniss, the main character, fails she continues with showing a tremendous amount of confidence by shooting the arrow near the game makers to make herself known, and exemplify her actual own strength even when everyone loses interest in her.

Self Reliance
The Middle is a prime example of self reliance because it emphasizes that we should always be ourselves and that we are better on our own. "Hey, you know they're all the same. You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in. Live right now. Yeah, just be yourself. It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else. " They specifically say here that we shouldn't worry about what other people think and that we should always be ourselves.
Don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just try your best, try everything you can.
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.

It just takes some time,
little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything will be just fine,
everything will be alright.
Hey
Hey, you know they're all the same.
You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in.
Live right now.
Yeah, just be yourself.
It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.
It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything will be just fine, everything will be alright
It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything will be just fine, everything will be alright.
John Lennon describes a place where there is only peace and the world living as one. The whole song is free thought because everything that Lennon is describing are only imagined.
"Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace..."
Everything that Lennon says here is hypothetical because it is only imagined by him.
Don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just do your best, do everything you can.
And don't you worry what their bitter hearts are gonna say.

Confidence
In this commercial, a woman with a scarlet "MW" enters a town and is immediately judged and sentenced to exile. The accused woman defends Miracle Whip by saying, "Miracle Whip is tangy and sweet, not odd. If you'd try it you'd know." The woman in the commercial expresses nonconformity by not listening to the voices of her community and continues to wear the marking of the miracle whip with pride.
