Transcript of Music!!

Music So where did Hip-hop music come from? The country music history is a long story but it has been around for as long as people could sing. People on frontiers and ranches originated country music by singing to instrumentals. The fiddle, guitar, banjo and other instruments were used to record music back in the day. Now country music has taken charastics from other types of music to become what it is today. What about country music? It is known that the history of rock music comes from the old R&B mixed with some country and western and fused with a little rockabilly. There were rock and roll elements showing up in blues songs and old country western songs as far back as the 20's and 30's. By the 1950's the history or rock music had begun. The dance crazes, fashion styles, and pop culture that followed the early history of rock music were made possible by early stars. !! Rock Music !! Rap has come a long way and has been shaped by different skills of various rappers who reflected a blend of poetic elements into fascinating wordplay that inspired social awareness by expressing their thoughts prominently on the dark sides of society and narrating it into a rhythmic tale. My favorite types of music I like hip-hop, rap, country
and some rock based music.
"For me, singing sad songs often has a way of dealing with a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness."
-Reba McEntire

"I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears."
"One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain."
-Bob Marley
"I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water."
-Ray Charles
"If music be the food of love, play on."
-William Shakespeare As hip-hop evolves into big business, elements like break dancing, dejaying, beat boxing, and raping are constantly being merged with clothing trends, slang, and general mindset. Rap Rap Rap Music Rap initially was the result of all the pain, miseries and frustration suffered by the people. It was a reality. There's no denying that Africans and African-Americans have been wronged through time. Rebel music has been known to have marked its presence during these times. Rap is "food for the soul" as many describe it. Rap is a lifestyle; it means different things to different people. The beauty of rap is the fact of relating it with oneself. People often wonder as to why rap sounds aggressive and revolves around miserable circumstances. - Classical music -
The word opera means "work" in Italian, suggesting that it combines the arts of solo and choral singing, declamation, acting and dancing in a staged spectacle. Opera seria was elevated in tone and highly stylised in form. Plot-driving passages sung in a style designed to imitate and emphasize the inflections of speech. Opera There are many types of opera. Such as french, English, German, and Italian forms. Each with their own language, style, and presentation but all contain the same concepts of loud vocals and dramatic effects. **The fact that a persons voice could break glass is proven to be true at some extent. ** Quotes from famous people- A few stars! Aubrey Drake Graham who records under the name Drake, is a Canadian recording artist, rapper, songwriter, and actor. Drake has sold over 5 million albums worldwide. With ten number-one singles he also has more than any other rapper on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. Swift is known for her narrative songs about her experiences as a teenager and young adult. She became the youngest songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. Her work is estimated to be worth over $165 million. Michael Joseph Jackson was an American singer-songwriter, entertainer, dancer, arranger, music producer, choreographer, actor, businessman, musician, and philanthropist. Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records. His contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades. But on June 25, 2009 the legend Michael Jackson died. ! Legends ! Elvis Aaron Presley was an American singer and actor. A cultural icon, he is commonly known by the single name Elvis. He began his career there in 1954. Presley was the most important popularizer of rockabilly, an uptempo,backbeat-driven fusion of country and rhythm and blues. Presley is regarded as one of the most important figures of 20th-century popular culture. He had a versatile voice and unusually wide success encompassing many genres, including country, pop ballads, gospel, and blues. He is the best-selling solo artist in the history of popular music. He died on August 16, 1977 (aged 42). Graceland was named in his memory (famous landmark). Why is Music important? Music is important because it can describe how you feel in an underlying way. Sometimes people have a hard time understanding what other people think but it all is how you interpret the music. Mostly it can help people display their emotions. Sometimes people shouldn't be so free about their feeling though. Haha And some should. Music in school, teaches people to be open and free about their feelings. By Megan Fowler Hip-hop music came mostly from people displaying their emotions, and struggles through dance and singing. Originated in the streets by plain people beat boxing.
