I am interested in a money market account at PNC because I already have a savings and a checking account there so it'd be easy to invest in a money market account. This type of investment is very safe, though it has a low rate of return. It's more convenient than a CD because money can be taken out without being penalized.

Government Bonds are usually very safe and controlled. Though they take a very long time to mature, the money is put to good use by the governement and the investor usually is paid back the face value of the bond. This investment appeals to me because it is not too risky because the government is fairly consistent and I like the long period of waiting between investment and return. I believe that BP would be a quality company to invest in because even though it came across several difficulties such as the spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the comapny has really bounced back. Not only did they clean up the spill in a timely manner so as to not majorly affect coastal businsses' economies, but they are slowly returning to pre-spill stock prices. I believe that they will continue to rise because they are a reliable source of oil on which our country depends.
