Economic Systems
Chile has resources like most countries. Its natural resources are within its border. These natural resources are used for manufacturing and are also exported in their raw state, and play a large role in the development of the country. Chile is a rich country in terms of minerals, and indeed is the world’s largest producer of copper. Chile is also home to the world’s largest copper company, the state owned CODELCO, a company which has indicated that Chile still has enough copper to continue producing at current rates for about two hundred years. Copper is not the only mineral resource that is in Chile, and in particular the gold and silver has increased in recent years. Mining also: Coal, Iron, Kaolin, Gypsum, Quartz, Zinc, Bentonite, Selenium and Rhenium.

Economic Relationships
Over the last several years Chile has signed free trade agreements with the European Union, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Brunei, China, and Japan. A few years ago Chile traded with Australia, Malaysia, and Thailand, and as well with China they only did this to extend their trade for goods. Now they just trade the European Union, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Brunei, China, and Japan.
Other Characteristics

Crime: Chile is ranked as the nineteenth country for crime statistics.
The Motto of Chile is "Por la razón o la fuerza" witch means "By right or might"
I think Chile is a good country to live in. There are lots of natural resources to make objects. There is a variety of water for fishing. It is also surrounded by mountains. The crime rate is also good, there isn't much crime in Chile. The life expectancy is isn't to good. Some issues that are most likely going to happen in the next ten years are probably Avalanche because of the mountains. The statement of Chile in the next ten years is hopefully going to get better. For the Human Development Index I am hoping their rating increases.

Culture affected by migration is that Chileans official language is Spanish. Chile celebrates their saint's day as much as they do their own birthday.
