Lost 1st Round 1998-2000* was a shortened Season due to a lock out. Then in 2003 the Miami Heat drafted a young man who would change EVERYTHING! DWYANE WADE DWYANE WADE Through his first couple of season Dwyane Wade broke record after record, being able to carry the heat to winning records and back to back playoffs.
By 2005 Wade was average 24.1 Point Per Game, 6.8 Assists per Game, and 5.2 Rebounds Per Game.
Wade was known for driving to the basket and creating clutch/stellar performances. Welcome to the Heat Shaquille O'Neal
and 2005-2006 Champs! With the coaching genius with that of Pat Riley, the Miami Heat traded for the 3 time L.A. Laker Champ Shaquille O'neal.
Shaq promised the Miami Heat Fans that he'd win a championship for them.
In Shaq's second year with the heat in 2005-2006 Season, the Miami Heat won it's first NBA Championship! Post-Championship Hangover Injuries to Wade and Shaq

Dwyane Wade decided to stay with the Heat.
Chris Bosh soon followed in Wade's Footsteps.
Then came the decision... Failing to Win The Championship The Miami Heat with their new Big 3 had an up and down season with a whole new level of scrutiny.
