27th Day of Lent
John 15:13

13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 3:16
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Reflection
In the Gospel, Jesus was tempted by Food, power, wealth.
But even though it was hard, Jesus gave up all those things and gave Himself to His Father.
At the end of Lent, we know Jesus gave himself for us.

We are leading up to Easter and that this is the time when Jesus died on the cross for us. In this way, He gave Himself for us.

When Jesus went to the desert for 40 days, He was getting ready to do important work for God. When we have Lent for 40 days, we remember what
Jesus did and we also get ready for Easter. This means that Lent is a very special time. It is a time of preparation and it is a time when we think about giving. Let us pray Sometimes people give things up for Lent,
just like Jesus did in the desert, but sometimes
people make a promise to ‘turn over a new leaf’;
to try to do something better and show a
good side of themselves. May all people

Of God’s love
