"Hi Jon
Books arrived and we are very pleased with the quality. Took a book over to Sylvia today and it went down a storm! Care staff were interested and approved of the result but the main benefit was to Sylvia. Though she is very confused these days this was a successful visit. She was very interested in the book and the pictures and text brought memories flooding back. Andrea went through most of the book with her ( but not reading out all the stories) and Sylvia was talkative and remembered things. All in all a successful exercise. She now has the book with her in her Zimmer frame bag for reading at any time.
We have shown the book to my 3 children and we are now going to order 3 more for them as everyone is enthusiastic and pleased with the results.
Thanks again for all your work. The result has been great to see.
Regards
Andrea and Jerry"

Jerry's feedback
Everyone has a story to tell, this is ours.
Eileen suffered a stroke
and needed 24 hour nursing care.
Family members wanted to help but lived too far away
Started thinking about how we could achieve more social contact with family

Needed something to fall back on during visits. Something to use to engage.
