1800's Entertainment They did duals on blood island. another thing they did was gamble a lot They went to art exhibits and performances of music theater.
They also saw traveling circuses and horse racing
there was a lot of boxing. Life Life in Missouri was very violent because there were lots of fight, riots and duals every day Daily life for blacks and whites were totally different since they weren't allowed to go in the same places white were Children in upper class were taught in public schools or by a tutor Class Upper class were usually wealthy Lower class to have less money and sometimes in poverty The economy was independent on farming and lead mining. economy Santa Fe trail opened fur trade became popular Most of the people were frontiers men and from the east coast.

differences between whites and blacks in Missouri had to be opposite of others
couldn't go to the same school
couldn't wait in the same place such as train stations and hospitals
were only allowed in restaurants that didn't say white's only
ministers who white couldn't perform for blacks and same thing for black ministers info
