Some religious parents may kick their LGBT children out of the house, and some religious people are motivated to commit violence against LGBT identified people. Teen Suicide LGBT SD BY Gia & Laura Discrimination is a big obstacle that people who identify as LGBT have to face when coming out. We Are Stopping It Religious People Teens who are LGBT are about 4 times more likely to commit suicide than straight people.
Teens usually commit suicide because of bullies, harassment, and/or discrimination.
Suicide is the most common way of death among LGBT teens.
In 2007 about 4,00 people 15-24 committed suicide.
