What is Digital Art?
Digital Art is just that... a general term for art made using digital technology. There is a wide range in types of art that considered digital art.

In CTE Digital Art we make art using digital technology. Some of the tools we use are, desktop computers, digital Wacom tablets, photo scanners, Nikon digital cameras, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
What do we do in 'Digital Art'?
In addition to making art, we prepare ourselves for the life after high school. We practice workplace etiquette (how to behave and act respectfully). We also explore various career options available in the digital arts and learn how to get those jobs or any job!
Assignments will be posted on the website.
There are resources for you to use on various projects and to look at for inspiration.
Material and files will be posted for your to use on various projects.

We're going to have
an awesome time!
Presentation Work (50%)- All major projects you complete, both technical and artistic skill will be evaluated, A self reflection component will be incorporated into every project.
Practice Work (30%)- Most practice work will be complete in preparation of your presentation assignments.
Studio Performance (20%)- Doing your best everyday. Professional behavior, the desire to learn and improve, a commitment not to waste valuable studio time, and respect for our precious equipment and resources.
