Fresh Water Biome Lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams make up the fresh water biome. It contains plants and animals of diffrent types. Rivers and streams are the only moving bodies of water that run through moutains and come from melting ice. PLANTS ANIMALS The most common animals in the fresh water biome are:
crocodiles, alligators, hippos, and platypus's. There are
also fish alge and fungi. The freshwater biome contains plants such as algae, cattails, brine-spike, swampfrond, tamarack, deerflower, myrtle, and false ivy. physical features plants and animals make up most of the
physical features in the freshwater biome.
