Equatorial Climate What is the characteristic? -Also known as a Rainforest climate
-Located near the equator
-There is no dry season
-All months have an average precipitation of at least 60mm
-No summer or winter Temperature Temperatures do not get extremely hot, due to rainfall and cloud coverage
Very humid climate
Average daily temperatures of 27°C
Heavy convectional rainfall
Why and Where it could be found? -This type of climate is found all around the equator
-Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur both have equatorial climates
How does it work? -The sun shines strong around the equator
-This causes extremely humid, hot climates
-Convectional rainfall is usual
-The humid climate creates many lush and rainforests, that are home to many species
