What is this?
Have a simple Mission Statement:
I want to solve X by doing Y resulting in Z
The Nonprofit Ecosystem Blueprint is a variation of a Business Model Canvas, designed to give you a single page worksheet that will help you plot out how to rationalize your nonprofit mission.
Programming
Consumer Relationships
Consumer Segments
Organizational Value
KEY PARTNERS
"By Doing Y"
This is your niche - this is where you layout your unique and disruptive idea that will change the world.
This is the main part of your Intellectual Property, your core process, the reason you are starting a new organization and not joining another nonprofit to help them do their programming.
This is the unique process you have developed to achieve your outcomes.
How will you find consumers to access your programming?
What if you build it and no one comes - how are you going to find consumers? How are they going to get to you? Why will they pick you over another program competing for their time and attention?
The success of your entire operation is based on the number of people you need to access to generate your mission-based outcomes.
Say you want to help people get a job via an 8 week training program, how many people will you have to train, how many will drop out, flunk out etc. before you get one person a job? You might be starting with a 20:1 success ratio - how do you find enough consumers to get to 10 successes that you need to justify funding?
How do you find and sustain a steady flow of consumers? Which of your key partners can act as a ‘feeder’
How will you stay in touch with your consumer after a success or failure.
How do you manage customer service and customer success?
Why your organization is uniquely suited to fulfill your mission. What problems are you trying to solve?
This is what makes you, your team and your program so special, what is the x-factor that you bring to the table that no one else could with the same inputs and plan. Is it your training, your life story?
Partners are not friends or funders. Partners are individuals and organizations wherein working with you is mutually beneficial. Where you both serve the same population but in different ways that complement each other. Partners may be people share office space with or organizations that team up on a grant application. Partners may be businesses that want to look good by providing Pro Bono Services to

Which businesses would benefit if more people were helped by your organization
Who are you trying to serve, who is the key demographic for your programming
Who are your targets for programming who are the people who need this the most and you also are the most accessible to you for success it is a combination of people that you can get to your program and need your program as you build it a good man for your program will grow and you can manage that outcomes grow your ability to find them will grow and outcomes you have that scale for cheaper per hour, will become as you grow
For your funding

Outreach
Key Resources
These are the raw materials you will absolutely need for your programming.
That without these items you would not be able to complete your mission.
How will you market your organization to both consumers and funders?
Who need your service? How do they consume information? how do they acquire access to services
How will you communicate with your funders and potential funders? How do they consume information? how do they make donations
Funding
Cost Structure
What are your top 10 expenses? Staff, Vendors, Rent, Supplies, etc?
What is your Cost per Outcome?
How will you fund your organization? Do you have committed funding, do you have grants or contracts? Will consumers pay for services?
Do you need funding? How much funding do you need?
Do you need to win contracts?
Do you know who's going to pay for this before you even start doing it? can you find an angel donor is willing to fund a pilot pilots are high risk high reward just like any small startup
Who else benefits from people using your service? Would they invest in you?
